The 2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray features a 6.2-liter V8 DI engine paired with an electric drive unit. A 1.9 kWh lithium-ion battery powers the electric drive unit and is self-charging.
As the first Corvette to be fitted with a hybrid powertrain, it can deliver a combined 655 horsepower and 595 pounds-feet of torque. Having two separate propulsion systems, this hybrid is Chevrolet’s quickest Corvette yet. It can go from 0 to 60 in 2.5 seconds, reaching a quarter-mile in 10.5 seconds at 130 mph.
The Corvette E-Ray comes with an electrified all-wheel drive and an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. This gives you high efficiency and speedy shifts while maintaining a seamless transition that you would get from an automatic transmission.
